Info About...Construction
During the construction process obviously a number of tools are needed, and depending on what job you are doing depends on what tools you require. Below is a small list of some of our reviews on the most popular and useful construction tools:
- Cement Mixers -> these come in a number of forms, on the back of a tuck, with a stand, without, whatever the case they are a key element in any construction work making mixing a lot quicker, easier and it saves you from doing the job manually!
- Truckmax Axe -> this tool gives you the ability to demolish or remove any guttering, it is also able to remove both ceiling and wall material. The axe is also able to cut through wiring, roofing and metal sheeting. However besides all the fancy stuff it can still act as a nail puller, just perfect!
- Plastering float -> this is used for the backing coat in plastering but can also be used to apply cement. They come in many materials but polyurethane is one of the best as it is light in weight.
- Electric drill -> comes in hundreds of styles and can now do more than it originally could, with some of its extra features including; reduced vibration levels, dual purpose for both rotation only and rotation with hammering.
- Locking pliers -> these can put a strong amount of pressure on a variety of screws and bolts meaning that you can rely on them to seal the tights grip. You can also get pliers not with a built in wire cutter feature.
- Screwdriver -> these tend to come in a variety of packs now. You can either go for your original screwdriver or a newer model, these tend to come as 6 in one' amking them extremely multi-purpose!
- Wheelbarrow -> you can't really do any construction work without it, not only can you use it to carry your rubbish in but its also useful for moving cement around in, where you get the old style or one that's been specify made for cement carrying. You can now also get them made out of polypropylene which means that you don't get the nose that normally comes when dumping your materials into them, you could work through the night!
- Crowbar -> this gooseneck metal tool that has a curved single neck with two flattened points at the end makes it very easy to remove nails and force objects apart from one another.
